Rumors abound are floating around about a new midsize sedan from Porsche, designed specifically to compete with the BMW 5-Series, Maserati Ghibli, and more importantly, Tesla’s highly-anticipated midsize sedan as well.
We bring up the Tesla because Porsche’s intended new model, the supposedly named Pajun, is said to be an electric vehicle to start. That said, French publication, Automobile Magazine, reaffirms the possibility of a Pajun EV concept showing up at the Frankfurt Motor Show in mid-September.
Like previous reports, this latest one suggests a hatchback-like shape while being shorter than the massive Panamera.
Production is guessitmated to occur by 2018 or 2019 with its backbone being based on the next-gen Panamera.
