Mercedes-AMG is readying their hotly-anticipated C63 Coupe and in traditional fashion of building hype, Mercedes-AMG has been slowly releasing a trickle of teasers for the new C63.
Just recently, the official tuning firm of Mercedes-Benz dropped some more photos, revealing the C63 Coupe a little more, which is still clad in its test-mule paint scheme. Either way, it gives us all a closer look at the exterior shape of Merc’s BMW M4 fighter.
As expected from previous version of AMG cars, the C63 Coupe will follow in the footsteps of its four-door sibling, which means the same Mercedes-AMG twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 with 503hp and 516 lb-ft of twist in the S model, while the lesser version produces 469bhp and 479 lb-ft of twist. That should allow the C63 AMG S to sprint to 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds with its top speed pegged at 180 mph by an electronic limiter.
The date for reveal is set for August 19 while its physical debut is scheduled for the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
