Poll: Apple to introduce their own car by 2019, would you buy one?

You may have heard it in the news before, but tech giant Apple, yes that Apple, the one once ran by the famous Steve Jobs, and the producer of insanely popular trendy smartphones, has a desire to make their own car.

According to the latest development from The Wall Street Journal, Apple may actually make it happen by 2019 as the company set their launch date for the first vehicle to ship.

In its quest to produce their first-ever automobile, Apple scooped up several key high-profile executives from the automotive industry, such as former Fiat-Chrysler head of quality, Doug Betts, and former Ford engineer, Steve Zadesky.

Apple also openly expressed their interest in producing autonomous cars as Google continues to endlessly research the technology involved with autonomous driving.

What remains to be a mystery however is whether or not Apple will team up with a major automaker to built its future cars or will be completely self-reliant on its own resources, similarly to Tesla Motors.

Critics and speculation are also skeptical as to whether or not Apple could pull off making their own car by 2019 as creating a car from the ground up isn’t exactly the easiest thing to do, especially when specific standards and regulations are required to be met and meeting such standards require extensive development and research. Though given Apple’s deep pockets and rich resources, there is still a chance they could pull it off.

The only question remains however, would you buy a car from Apple? Android fans obviously need not apply.
