AutoExpress reports the Alfa Romeo Giulia is expected to commence sales in the UK by the end of next year as the company continues to develop the model. Estimated price: around 53,000 GBP to boot, with the obvious Quadrifoglio high-performance version starting at a much higher price point to compete with the BMW M3.
Not much else is known but a projection of sometime in fall of 2016 is expected, with no word about when the US will get their version. Though, given how Europe tends to get cars before we do (those lucky bastards), we’ll most likely get ours after they do.
The Giulia Quadrifoglio, much like the M3, is to be complimented with versions other, lesser variants, built to compete directly with the normal BMW 3-Series, Audi A4, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Jaguar XE.
And while we obviously care more about the Quadrifoglio, what with its Ferrari-sourced twin-turbocharged V6 with around 510hp, we’re very much curious to see if Alfa can make a better car than the Germans, and even Japan’s Lexus IS.
Aren’t you?
