Whenever one hops into their automobile for a weekend holiday, it’s never a fun consideration to take into account the amount fuel to be burned, either sitting in traffic or just simply trying to get to your destination.
But if it’s any consolation, USAToday found that gas prices will be at their lowest figure for any Labor Day Weekend in the past 11 years.
If you’re in Jersey like we are at egmCarTech, you should’ve already noticed that regular gas prices have dipped below $2/gallon, and that’s more of a relief than learning that you don’t have jury duty next week.
Despite what the AAA expects as the busies Labor Day Weekend for motorists around the country since 2008, with an estimated 30.8 million individuals hitting the roads, gas prices took a dive due to the political climate in lieu of recent events as well as dwindling overall demand for crude production.
Crude oil prices exhibited their biggest drop by dripping below $40 per barrel earlier last week, a first time low in over six years, though the price has continued to be volatile based on numerous factors, like it always has.
Either way, take advantage of these low gas prices and head on out for a cruise or drive while you can. And as always, we here at egmCarTech wish our readers and everyone safe travels on the roads.
Head on over to USAToday to see where gas prices fall in your state.
