Mazda teases new CX-9 replacement, to debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show

Mazda officially announced to be bringing a new CX-9 replacement to the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show and they recently teased the model as well.

The small Japanese automaker kept the teaser brief, but we’ve already known a new CX-9 was on the way after seeing some spy shots of the test mules running around.

Incorporating the latest in Mazda’s SKYACTIV technology, the new CX-9 is expected to be built on a new lightweight platform rather than an ancient Ford platform, complete with the latest evolution of the brand’s KODO design.

Expect the new CX-9 to show up at the Staples Center in just a few weeks time.

Mazda to Unveil All-New CX-9 Three-Row Midsize Crossover SUV at Los Angeles Auto Show

HIROSHIMA, Japan, Nov. 4, 2015  — Mazda Motor Corporation announced today it will premiere the all-new Mazda CX-9 three-row midsize crossover SUV at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, which runs from November 20 to 29.

Fully incorporating the latest SKYACTIV technologies and KODO—Soul of Motion design, the all-new CX-9 is a high-end model of Mazda’s new-generation lineup. The all-new CX-9 builds on the feeling of life imbued by KODO and moves toward a more premium design execution that befits a three-row midsize crossover SUV.
