Alfa Romeo has a habit of producing some of the most aesthetically pleasing and artful automobiles the world has ever seen, and the story is no different with their latest Giulia sedan, due to be a direct competitor to the current BMW 3-Series.
But for some reason, some analysts criticized the Giulia for looking or resembling a BMW 3-Series too much as if it was trying to be a carbon copy, which I greatly disagree with. In response to the comments about the Giulia looking too much like a 3-Series, Alfa went on record with AutomotiveNews to say the Giulia was actually inspired by the 156 stylistically, rather than the BMW 3-Series that it seeks to compete with.
So far, we’re expecting the Giulia to be launched in a variety of forms in the months to come, following the debut of the high-performance BMW M3-competing Quadrifoglio model. Though it should be noted the model was pushed back due to Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles still suffering from cash-flow issues and slow sales. We’re hoping this gets fixed soon since we’re really looking forward to Alfa Romeo’s stay here in the United States.
