Report: Ford and the UAW supposedly sign agreement to build new Bronco and Ranger in the US

2004 Ford Bronco Concept

The return of the Ford Bronco and Ranger to the US markets are some well-established rumors that have never left their status of just being rumors, claims for false-hope to the point where we dismissed any sort of new bit of news as just a waste of time.

But now, those rumors might be destined to change as the Detroit Free Press reports Ford just signed a new manufacturing agreement to build a new Bronco and Ranger on US soil at the company’s plant in Michigan, once production for the C-Max and Focus ends at that location in 2018.

The hints came via a new 1,110-page agreement between the UAW and Ford, though no specific models were mentioned. But an “insider source” within one of the entities told the Freep that the Bronco and Ranger could finally come to fruition.

Altogether as well, the agreement still remains to be tentative.
