Top Gear’s newly hired co-host, Chris Harris, is a fairly experienced driver. Actually, he’s a little more than fairly experienced as MotorSport.com reports Harris will now race for Bentley in the 2016 Blancpain GT Series, specifically with Team Parker Racing.
Harris has experience not only doing his test videos with high-end supercars, but he has also competed in the 24 Hours of Nurburgring on a number of accounts. His best result from his participation there include his best finish of 13th place back in 2010.
He has also raced in a number of Porsche Carrera Cup leagues and raced specifically for Renault’s Sport RS01 Trophy Series at Silverstone.
Harris will be piloting the team’s Bentley Continental, alongside some other big-named greats such as Derek Pierce and Chris Cooper, who are both on Team Parker Racing as well.
