The 2017 Lincoln MKC receives some minor equipment changes

2017 Lincoln MKC

Lincoln’s slightly reworking the way they offer the MKC crossover for sale, specifically with how it’s packaged and what options come with what.

That said, with the 2017 model year comes these changes, such as the standardization of automatic stop/start on the front-wheel drive base model, and it being thankfully optional on the all-wheel drive car.

On top of that nuisance, Lincoln updated the SYNC 3 infotainment system from Ford with the welcome integration of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

And, that’s about it as the MKC still comes with the same choices of a 2.0L or 2.3L EcoBoost four-banger with a six-speed automatic. The 2.0L can be had in front- or all-wheel drive form while the 2.3L comes only with all-wheel drive.

Expect 240hp and 270 lb-ft of twist for the 2.0 while the 2.3 substitutes the V6 nicely with 285hp and 305 lb-ft.

Prices will be announced closer to launch in the coming months.
