Jaguar-Land Rover is getting pretty serious with the expansion of their SVR performance brands, so much that the Special Vehicle Operations division is said to have planned a butt-load of additional models for the near-future.
So far, the only official SVR models we have right now since the sub-brand’s establishment in 2014 are the Range Rover Sport SVR and the Jaguar F-Type SVR. To add to the roster, J-LR plans to introduce a new SVR model every where through 2020. We’re not going to complain about that.
That leaves for lots of speculation and possibilities, for instance, with the new Jaguar F-Pace and the recent introduction of the new XE entry-level sedan, and the fairly new second-generation XF, you can already bet that three new SVO models could be made from those cars.
However, specifics of course were kept confidential by J-LR officials. Regardless of what could happen, there’s ultimately a guarantee that we can expect some new high-performance entrants from Britain’s best, even despite being kicked in the nuts by the Brexit referendum.
