Honda announced the official price list of the 2016 Civic and it starts at $18,640, not including the typical destination charge.
And that’s good news for prospective Civic buyers because it turns out to be around only $150 more than the current model. Good news, because not only is the 10th generation 2016 Honda Civic the best looking Civic sedan ever, it clearly moves upmarket with more premium-like features, further substantiating its value.

The base Civic comes with Honda’s latest 2.0L naturally-aspirated four-banger, which comes with the choice of a six-speed manual or a CVT, though sadly, it’s the only model to be offered with a third pedal, other than the unannounced, yet, anticipated Si model and the new Civic Type-R.
Moving up the trim level obviously bumps the price up, with the next-level EX model starting at $21,040 with more options, while being $150 cheaper than the outgoing version.
The top-of-the-line EX-L starts at $23,700 and comes with Honda’s latest 1.5L turbo-four as standard.
Honda also announced the official EPA fuel economy figures for the engines, with the 2.0L version returning around 27/40/31 city/highway/combined mpg and the 1.5L model with the CVT giving back 31/42/35 mpg.
