A new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is just around the corner and an amateur YouTuber was able to get nearly 100 prototypes of the next-gen E-Class on film, providing us with the clearest look yet as to what the new model will look like.
To nobody’s surprise, the new E-Class follows in the stylistic footsteps of the S-Class and C-Class by looking like both of them, but with middling midsize proportions.
Built on the same MRA modular platform as the C-Class, the new E is expected to be larger, lighter, and more jam-packed with technology than ever before. Not much else is known, but we’re hoping Mercedes’ rumored new line of inline-six engines debuts in the new E-Class. So far, some new rumors surfaced to incline some new diesel straight-sixes are certainly on the way.
A reveal at the 2016 North American International Auto Show is speculated.
