Report: Jeremy Clarkson’s in the news again for his fracas–being sued for racial discrimination

It seems Jeremy Clarkson’s troubles over his “fracas” at the BBC still isn’t over. Bloomberg reports the former Top Gear host is now being sued by a senior BBC producer for racial discrimination.

This comes after a supposed “closed-door hearing” with BBC’s producer, Oisin Tymon, which took place in London last Friday. Lawyers on both the BBC’s and Jeremy Clarkson’s side were present during the hearing.

For those who need a refresher, Mr. Tymon was the producer that Clarkson got into a “fracas” with, leading to Clarkson’s termination. Since then, an investigation has been ongoing, and amid this investigation, Clarkson is now being sued for racial discrimination against Tymon, in the same event where Clarkson struck him.

“During the physical attack Oisin Tymon was struck, resulting in swelling and bleeding to his lip,” BBC’s director, Ken MacQuarrie said in a statement following the investigation. “The verbal abuse was sustained over a longer period, both at the time of the physical attack and subsequently.”

The racial discrimination from Clarkson was after he called Tymon a “lazy, Irish cock,” at a hotel in Yorkshire, according to The Mirror.

Sadly, this is not the first time Clarkson was been accused of racism after he was thought to have mumbled the “n-word” during an outtake on a previous episode–which never ended up being true.

This however, has shown to have no effect on Clarkson’s latest deal and situation with Amazon, where he’s due to launch a new show.

Ok, can we just leave him alone now?
