2016 CES Preview: The 2017 Chevrolet Bolt is expected to be revealed shortly

Chevrolet recently announced and confirmed to officially be introducing the new production 2017 Bolt at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in a short while.

The new 2017 Chevrolet Bolt is one of the hotly-anticipated new models from the Golden Bow-Tie since it’s the model’s affordable crossover variant to the new 2016 Chevrolet Volt sedan. The Bolt itself first showed up at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show as a concept.

Now though, as a solid follow up one year later, the production version will finally be here, but at Las Vegas.

From what we know and what Chevy’s been promising, the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt should come with a starting price of around $30,000 and with it, a comfortable and efficient city car with a hefty tax return, lots of tech, and great fuel economy.

It’s estimated the battery pack can harness enough juice to run the Bolt for up to 200 miles, even with the car set in “spirited performance” mode.

Though unlike the Volt and even the somewhat-competing BMW i3, the 2017 Chevrolet Volt remains to be a full electric vehicle with no range-extending capabilities.
