Jeep is working on what will basically be a “Hellcat Grand Cherokee,” which means they’re going to take the ridiculously insane power and drivetrain from the Dodge Charger and Challenger Hellcat siblings, and put it in the Grand Cherokee, all while calling it the Trackhawk.
No matter how you look at it, a 707hp Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT will be freakin’ nuts!
That said, AutoBlog’s spy photographer, KGPPhotography, was able to snag some spy shots of what appears to be a Trackhawk prototype, very loosely disguised.
There isn’t much to expect visually since the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is already a pretty evil and menacing looking truck. The Trackhawk will likely get some more aggressive body bits and wheels, and nicer interior trimmings.
Either way, we know it’s coming and these spy photos help both reaffirm this impending arrival and inform us that it should be fairly soon.
