I couldn’t believe it myself until I saw it, but a new Guinness World Record was set for the longest queue of Ford vehicles, besting the one previously held in North America.
This time, it took place in Bulgaria, where believe it or not, none of them were found on road dead. In fact, more than 2,300 functioning, yes functioning, Ford vehicles lined up for more than two miles. Some of the vehicles that did lineup however were not “light vehicles” and thus, were not factored in. Because, let’s admit it–Ford’s heavy duty and commercial vehicles are pretty sturdy so including them would’ve been slightly cheating. That’s probably not the real reason why they weren’t factored in however.
Everything however from old Probes, Granadas, Escorts, Sierras, Thunderbirds, to even a Model A, participated in the event.
The previous record was achieved in 2014 in North America where 829 Ford vehicles paraded around.
I still can’t get over the fact that none of them were living up to their namesake.
