It’s almost nearly impossible to imagine Monterey Car Week and the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance without Aston Martin and Zagato. Luckily, both of them made sure to not sit this one out.
In addition to showcasing the Vanquish Zagato Coupe from Italy’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in May 2016, Aston Martin and the renowned design firm introduced a convertible version as well. Naturally, they call it the Vanquish Zagato Volante.
A bespoke convertible limited to just 99 reproductions, the new Vanquish Zagato Volante is essentially the Vanquish Zagato Coupe, but with a collapsable head. The result is a head-snapping and gorgeous luxury sports grand tourer with a million feet of headroom.
This means the Volante gets the same 6.0-liter naturally-aspirated V12 with 598hp, netting a 0-60 time of just 3.7 seconds.
Deliveries are expected to commence in 2017.
