A new photo was acquired by Jalopnik, who received the first official picture of what appears to be the 2017 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe.
After countless teasers, Mercedes-Benz is finally ready to reveal the AMG-ified version of the all-new C-Class Coupe, which was revealed recently when media coverage was peaking for the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
As usual, we’re expecting the same 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 from the AMG GT and the current C63 AMG sedan, and around the same amount of power as the outgoing naturally-aspirated 6.2L V8’s 507hp figure in S form.
Currently, the C63 AMG sedan is available with 470hp and 479 lb-ft of twist, while the S model boasts 503hp and 516 lb-ft. So we can naturally expect these same power figures and kit in the C63 AMG Coupe, since well, the coupe is just a two-door variant to the sedan.
Stay tuned for an updated post with more pictures and a full press blast.
